The closest I have been, was Luxor in Las Vegas. (Casino with an Egpyt theme)
I can’t really remember when was the time I started dreaming of egypt. Was it secondary school? It appears everywhere. Movies, cartoons (prince of egypt), magazines, discovery channel.. etcetc. Ever since many many years ago, I had wanted to go to egypt. It seemed like some unreachable land that I can only dream of. I never even dreamt of going to China, to Korea, to Disneyland, not even the United States. But over the years, I’ve traveled to all these places. All but THE place I had wanted to go all along. I want to travel the world, but THE place that I really want to go to is egypt. I can’t really pin point why actually. But I just wanna go. Go see the pyramids. Go float in the Dead Sea. Go try split the red sea. Go do many many things. But, I never dared to go. It seemed too.. ‘faraway’. Not in terms of distance, but.. unreachability. Somehow. And, being the very picky traveler I am, I would only travel when I find suitable travel partners. And GUESS WHAT? I think I have found just the right friends to go egypt together!! YES!!!! EGYPT!! My dream suddenly seems all so real to me!! So close!! Egypt is not so unreachable anymore!!!!! Thank God for FRIENDS!!!! ^_^
